As you know Houston and southeast Texas are enduring the catastrophe of Hurricane Harvey. Notre Dame Parish, through the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is collaborating with St. Vincent de Paul Society to offer emergency relief and recovery for those who have been impacted by the recent flooding. This weekend (9/2&3) and next weekend (9/9&10) we will have a 2nd collection at all the Masses.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will address the immediate needs – such as clothing, food, and medical supplies- but will also stay with the victims to ensure a full recovery, as the needs of people and families will continue for some time. Thank you for considering a donation to help those affected to regain their self-sufficiency and dignified living.
