Welcome to Notre Dame Parish

It’s the start of the 2011–2012 school year and Box Tops are back! Last year was another successful year and we were once again able to raise more than $1,600 thanks to your support! The funds were used to cover the school’s operating expenses, and we hope to make the program even more successful this year.

Before we tell you about what is planned to help us reach our new goal of $2,000, we want to tell you about the Box Tops program overall. I strongly encourage you all to check out the Box Tops for Education website at http://www.boxtops4education.com which describes all the latest programs and ways we can raise money by purchasing things you would normally buy anyway. Essentially, Box Tops has three main components through which we can earn money for the school which include:

Box Tops Coupons - Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products found in local grocery stores. We earn 10¢ for each Box Top redeemed.

Box Tops MarketplaceSM - Shop online at your favorite stores such as Old Navy, Best Buy, Land’s End, Target, and over 100 retailers through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace and Notre Dame can earn a percentage of each qualifying purchase at no additional cost to you.

Box Tops Reading Room - Buy books through the Box Tops Reading Room and we can earn up to 6% of each qualifying purchase.

So now that you know the ways in which we can achieve our goal, we want to share what we have planned to help us collect as many Box Tops as possible.

#1 FREE DRESS DAYS!

There will be two Free Dress Days -- November 9th and February 15th (each free dress day requires a minimum of 10 Box Tops per student).

#2 CONTESTS!

Notre Dame students can win FREE HOT LUNCH or ICE CREAM PARTIES for the class as well as other great prizes like iTunes or Daily Scoop gift cards. Watch for details and get your neighbors and extended family clipping Box Tops now!

#3 PARISH SUPPORT

We’re even planning to reach out to the parish in the bulletin and do a Box Tops drive.

We have a lot of work ahead of us but we know that with your support and participation, you can help us make the difference. We look forward to another great year!

P.S. To make finding Box Tops easier for you, attached please find a list of all participating products. There are 31 new products in the program. So the next time you’re doing your shopping, bring this list with you. Choosing one of these products can help us reach or even surpass our goal!
